I would rather the reset happen at death, and be able to take my time selecting my character and talents before clicking embark.įound a rare item that provides a support skill that grants healing over time. Having to select a class and talents after clicking embark (while combat is happening) is frustrating. Something about that process is not working correctly. This ties in with an exploit wherein you can unequip yourself after death but before embarking again to not lose items. Some things that don't appear to be behaving as intended:Įquipping items before clicking embark (as instructed in the tutorial) results in the items being deleted before battle starts. To start, I really like the concept and it seems like a pretty solid start. I'll take a loot at the camp healing and make sure everything is working as intended. Having no cap represents a potential memory leak as items are generated faster than they are destroyed. You can upgrade the camp to the point that items are recovered much quicker, functionally eliminating the cap. There will be a way to plan talents in some fashion that requires less annoying clicking. Talent UI in general is in for a rework sooner than later I think. There does need to be better information on active battles in some fashion. I was worried that it might be more confusing to see stats suddenly shift every time you click on a battle. Similarly, I've flip-flopped on showing the stats of the adventurer in battle when you're focused on that battle. I want to have some configurable behaviour settings at for players at some point, which may be a more appropriate time to look at this. I may throw in an exception if you are very low on life. I realize this could be frustrating if you bleed out on your way to the next fight. I have it disabled for now because so many heals have buffs associated with them, I thought that it would be preferable to have the heal ready as soon as the fight starts (cooldowns do roll while traveling). Healing while traveling is pretty reasonable, I had it that way at certain points.
